Mumbai: If permissions to set up industry are not issued within seven days through the online single-window system, applications will be considered approved, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis told administration officials on Thursday.
While reviewing decisions and implementation, Fadnavis directed the administration to make all provisions for such processes under the ease-of-doing-business initiative.

The CM assured a Chinese delegation full support in starting the Bank of China’s first unit in Mumbai. He said this will strengthen industrial ties between the two countries.
Fadnavis insisted on security for installations involved in hospitality business besides making available for them all permissions at the earliest.
Labour minister Prakash Mehta, minister of state for labour Vijay Deshmukh, chief secretary Swadheen Kshatriya and other secretaries besides police commissioner Javed Ahmad were present.
